About

Hi I’m Kailyn!

Thank you for taking the time to look at my work, I am so happy to share it with you! I started Flipping Interiors in 2021 and it truly has brought me into some amazing homes. Since I could be working in your home, I wanted to share a few things about me!

I graduated from Colby-Sawyer College with a B.F.A. in Graphic Design. The skills I learned during college help me run my small business. They sometimes make my approach to painting a bit nontraditional. In my world painting a house and creating art are the same thing. It’s all about craftsmanship and colors! My creative approach to offering interior painting services is a great opportunity for you to make your home feel custom to you!

My favorite part of being a painter contractor… well how long do you have? I’ll just list it out as it will be quicker.

  • Creating customer relationships – learning about how your home functions, how to personalize and seeing it through to the end
  • the very tiny details that make the biggest difference. You may not notice it, but if I didn’t get in there with my tiny artist’s brush one day you just might!
  • Seeing the whole transformation. If you work with me, you get me, from start to finish and that’s the beauty of it. A local, small business. No subcontractors, no huge crew, no surprises. I love being in the nitty gritty of the whole job.
  • Painting it not mundane. I may stand solemnly on that hill but there is constantly problem-solving, new approaches to craftsmanship and a living room to transform!

Well, right now a lot of “flipping” action is going on. I am working on renovating a 1920s house I bought this winter. For all my neighbors, who have been asking – I plan on living there. It’s a personal project! There are a lot of projects happening there but so far it’s been a great opportunity for me to enhance my skill set. I plan on posting my journey with that on my instagram / facebook if you are curious.

I grew up in Medway, MA. The local community and now having a small business is very important to me. Sports have always played such a huge role in my life. What once was college field hockey and lacrosse is now co-ed floor hockey, mountain biking, and skiing… a lot of people tell me I need to rest, but I say one day I’ll get plenty of that!
